Enriching Minds and Sparking Creativity at PS166Q!

Our students are fortunate to participate in a variety of incredible enrichment programs, all made possible by the generosity and dedication of our parents and PTA. From dynamic dance classes with RIOULT Dance NY (Gr. K &1) and Flushing Town Hall (Gr. 4) to engaging theater workshops with NYC Children's Theater (Gr. 1 & 5), these programs inspire creativity and confidence. Students explore the world of music with Art House Astoria (Gr. 2), discover the wonders of architecture with Kidspire (Gr. 2), sharpen their minds through chess instruction with Move One Chess (Gr. 3 & 4), find balance and mindfulness in yoga sessions with All Bodies Yoga (Gr. 3), and unleash their storytelling skills in filmmaking projects with Astoria Film Festival (Gr. 5). These exceptional experiences foster a love for the arts, encourage self-expression, and help our students grow in meaningful ways. We are deeply grateful to our parents and PTA for helping to make these opportunities possible!
